As far as this boot is concerned, we're still in the heyday of backpacking. For its creation, Danner's shoemakers sought out leathers similar to those used in the original Danner Light model, introduced in 1979. This classically inspired boot features a stitched construction and a Vibram Kletterlift outsole for stable grip on varied terrain. The Danner Light Khaki is still handcrafted in our Portland, Oregon, factory using premium full-grain leather, denier nylon panels, and a waterproof GORE-TEX lining.
