Located in the uplands of the Swedish province of Småland, Martin Magnusson and his family settled and began making gloves in 1936 and is now run by the third and fourth generation. Magnusson began by making gloves for the local lumberjacks in his workshop. It soon evolved into skiing gloves and now over 80 years later, Hestra is in 25 countries selling over 400 different styles of gloves. 

The gloves are manufactured in their own factories and all leather, fabric, wool and other materials are personally bought to ensures a high level of quality. Several of our models are handmade by some of the most experienced glove makers in Europe.
